I am currently the President of the Butte County Ident-A-Child Program. With the continuing rise in missing children, the CAPE Program provides a valuable resource for parents to help protect their children from possible harm. Through the CAPE program parents and children learn danger awareness, how to keep themselves safe and defense skills. The knowledge and skills available can help build a child's confidence and strengthen communication between parents and their children.
The CAPE program has profoundly impacted both my professional and personal life. It significantly enhanced my understanding of the techniques used by sexual predators, which has been invaluable in both my career and personal interactions. Professionally, the knowledge gained has sharpened my ability to prevent and respond to sexual predation effectively.
